The Statute of the Fazli Center for Business Leadership Development, approved by the Board of Trustees on June 10, 2024 (21 Khordad 1403 in the Iranian calendar), has set forth the fundamental objectives and functions of the Institute as follows:
**Development of technologies and innovations related to business leadership and management
**Advancement and deepening of applied research in the fields of business leadership
**Definition, implementation, and commercialization of projects required by key stakeholders in areas related to leadership and human resource productivity
**Expansion of collaborations, promotion, and practical application of research and innovation achievements at national and transnational levels
**Education and development of human capital capabilities in the field of business leadership and management
**Contribution to the development of relationships and interactions among industry, academia, and society at national, regional, and international levels in the field of organizational and institutional leadership
Duties and Mission (clause 3 of the statue)
** Identification and assessment of the research and technological needs of Iranian organizations and enterprises in the field of business leadership
** Management and implementation of applied and developmental research projects in response to these needs
** Scientific study and analysis of publications related to business leadership and management issued in Iran and internationally, with the aim of monitoring scientific and technological trends in areas aligned with the Institute’s objectives
** Participation in the development of active social networks in the field of business leadership and management in order to create synergy among ideas, programs, and emerging systems within industry, academia, and society, in accordance with university regulations
** Provision of consulting and clinical services aligned with the Institute’s objectives to natural and legal persons, based on the results of the Institute’s research and innovation activities
** Preparation, compilation, and publication of the results and achievements of the Institute’s research and innovation activities in the form of books, journals, educational booklets, and other scholarly content tailored to stakeholders’ needs, utilizing the latest technological advancements and disseminated through diverse and accessible media platforms
** Organization of various scientific and promotional gatherings, including conferences, seminars, symposia, and scientific and professional awards at national, regional, and international levels, within the framework of university regulations
** Design and implementation of workshops, sessions, laboratories, and other forms of applied training programs at advanced specialized levels, offered in short-term to long-term formats, delivered in-person, virtually, or in blended modalities, subject to obtaining the necessary approvals from the University
**Design and establishment of mechanisms related to the development and commercialization of technology and innovation, including innovation centers, business accelerators, technology accelerators, and venture capital financing funds
** Study, design, testing, and development of various products and services aligned with the Institute’s objectives, as well as registration and protection of intellectual assets, including trademarks, industrial designs, and trade secrets; and revenue generation through the utilization of related intellectual property rights, including the provision of services within the Institute’s mission domain, receipt of royalties, and the granting of franchises and/or representation rights
** Support for problem-oriented, applied, strategic, foresight-based, comparative, encyclopedic, and translational research related to the leadership of companies, organizations, and societies
** Identification and guidance of talented Iranian students in fields aligned with the Institute’s objectives through scholarships, fellowships, employment facilitation, and coaching and mentoring services along their path of personal growth and excellence
