Description

Family businesses form an important part of the country’s economy and, in many cases, are the result of years of effort, experience, and responsibility of a family. The continuity of these businesses into future generations depends, above all, on the development of competent and prepared leaders who can simultaneously understand and manage the interests of the business, family, and ownership.

One of the main challenges in family businesses is that business growth and next-generation member growth occur simultaneously, but next-generation leadership development is often not systematically pursued. The lack of a clear leadership path, emotional decisions about succession, unwritten family expectations, and resistance from two generations can jeopardize both the future of the business and family relationships.

This training course is designed with this in mind: how to manage next-generation engagement as a strategic issue, not a random or purely family event. This course will answer questions such as:

  • What are the ways the next generation can enter the family business?
  • In what role is each person most effective?
  • How to prepare the next generation for managerial roles?
  • What role does the current generation play in succession and healthy management transition?

During the course, participants will learn about different paths to next-generation engagement, methods for identifying talents and motivations, designing gradual accountability paths, and personal development frameworks. It also addresses the role of the current generation in creating a supportive environment, reducing tensions, and intelligently delegating roles so that the management transition can be carried out without harming family relationships and organizational cohesion.

This course is based on real experiences of family businesses and is designed in such a way that both the current and next generations can use it to plan their individual, organizational, and family futures.
